My Frame Is Getting Warantied

I bent my Chainstays on my Eastern Thunderbird. Bryan Byrd at Eastern is a core rider and got a frame in the mail to me before I could take my bike apart.

Right after Bryan said he was shipping me a new frame...

...10 minutes later.

The only bummer about my new frame is it's white. Fortunately I like riding more than I care about colors or else my summer would be ruined. My frame is on it's way to North Carolina right now.

Last Week

I started my week off by sending away another good friend temporarily, this one is going to fight mosquitoes on the Appalachian Trail rather than forest fires. He should return about the same time as Tay and we will sleep in our cave in the desert again.



The Wheel of Life was closed when I got there, so we went to 118, which is a raw foods vegan restaurant. It was pretty good, totally healthy and creative.


I pretty much worked, built and rode every day, I started to get comfortable at Skeleton.

Skeleton

Got out to the trails, traffic was kind, beautiful weather (made me think about going to the beach). When I got to Skeleton, the first lip was getting rebuilt, so we got to work and made this.

I waited until Mikey and Jeremy hit is first, then I stabbed it.

After dead overshooting it a bit I finally felt good.

"I'll break bones you didn't know you had."

Yesterday was not very productive with the BMX, but it will be up and running soon. I rode to the bike shop twice, and then it was off to the race. Brett, finally got under 14 minutes (13:56) but Jordan barely missed the 14 minute barrier (14:01.50). Mike, who still has the fastest PR @ 13:55, but he was in the hurt locker after 2 miles.

Just finished a ruthless bkfst: Potatoes with about 10 cloves of garlic, an entire lime on everything and 2 eggs over easy. Nichole won't stop working on her research and I am leaving for Skeleton so I will stop bothering her.

First Saturday Morning, No Taybanger

Had a bangin' bkfst this morning with some dudes that run for adidas out of Flagstaff, AZ. Made them some crepes, played some Super Nintendo. Gave Jordan some of my old kits from adidas, enjoyed the Saturday, should get the BMX up and running today. Had a special drink, maybe two special drinks in honor of Tay.
